I'm not sure I am ready to take the leap to operation underpants yet, but Lex is, yet again, two steps ahead of us on growing up... The past few days she has been self-motivated to use the potty and only the potty, not her diaper. I am reluctant to fully potty train her since she is only 22 months old, but I am definitely not going to say no when she says "Potty" and looks up at me with those GIGANTIC baby eyes!
It looks like we are going to have to go buy her a brand new princess potty!!!!! We are very excited that she is so determined to be an early potty trainer, but we totally were not expecting her to decide on her own and to stick with it!!!!
We are so blessed with motivated children!!!!

Blake was super excited about Halloween this year! He got to meet up with family and friends at a Fall Harvest Festival followed by Trunk-or-Treating. There were bounce houses, games, an obstacle course and food! Blake had a blast!
Night 2 of Trunk-or-Treating we went to our Church and listened to lots of Bible stories and enjoyed elaborate displays that people put tons of work into in order to bring the Bible stories to life. It was so much fun to watch the re-enactments of Bible stories.

Lex is slightly bummed out that she is only allowed to eat one piece of candy each day, but she is thankful to have her own bucket of candy! We have lots of fun things planned for fall! We are very excited for Thanksgiving!!!!!

Impending Holidays
Well, I have a million and one pictures to upload and edit/crop!! I am excited to get them on here, but haven't quite found the motivation yet.
Things are a bit crazy right now at work, gearing up for the Holidays, we have some new methods we have to get down by the time Black Friday gets here! Fingers Crossed!!!!
Alexia is 21 months old today and I have mixed feelings about that! I absolutely adore her and I treasure every moment I get to spend with her! She is growing up so fast and she just amazes me every day. Even though we have been through this stage before with Blake it is completely different, since Alexia is not the same child and she is a girl!
It is so hard for me to believe that we have a son who is 4 and a daughter who will be two in a mere 3 months! The time really does fly by. We are already preparing for Blake to go to Kindergarten (not until August 2012, but it will be here before we know it and we are working with the district to make sure he is not behind at all when he starts school)!
I am definitely being mushy, but I am definitely happy with things the way they are. Our children are both so amazing and every day is an adventure for us. I am so blessed to be a part of this family and to be living the life I am living. I have said it before and I will say it again a million times, we have an amazing group of wonderful people giving us moral support. You are all a life-line to us and we cannot thank you enough! We are so lucky to have each and every one of you in our lives!!!!!

Alexia had a great time at the zoo! She enjoys it so much more this year than she did last year! She loves the aquarium and the train. She is not so sure about the carousel yet, so she hasn't ridden on it, but she LOVES all of the animals!
She is chattering up a storm and even has fun singing with mommy! It is amazing how quickly this little girl is becoming a lady!

Blake is such an amazing boy! He is enjoying the end of summer/beginning of fall! He loves to play outside, so we are trying to fit as much outdoor fun in as possible before it gets cold out!
Yesterday we took a trip to the Zoo. Blake, Alexia, Mommy and Grandma Corinne all went together! We went to the Wild Kingdom to look around, then explored the aquarium! After the aquarium we stopped to eat a quick lunch and headed to the train. We stopped in the Gorilla House on our way to the train. Once we were on the train both Blake and Alexia fell asleep almost instantly. Alexia napped for about one ride and Blake napped for one and a half rides. Blake got to ride the train three times! He was very excited to see all of the sights from the train. Grandma took Blake on 3 carousel rides once he woke up! On our way out we went to the aquarium again, saw the Wild Kingdom one last time and headed home.
We can't wait to post Pumpkin Patch pictures!!!!!!
