Big Girl!!!

Well the title says it all! Alexia cut her first tooth! It doesn't show up in the pictures yet, but it is there!!!! She is also getting more and more brave about walking and is now able to climb the entire staircase with either mommy or daddy right behind her. We have re-childproofed our home to make sure that she is completely safe!!!
Blake is enjoying Alexia's ability to play alongside him more often! He just LOVES being a big brother!!! It is hard to believe our little babies are already 8 1/2 months old and 3 years old!!
We are also VERY excited for them to have TWIN cousins!!!! We can't wait to meet them!!!!

Thank you to everyone who sent pictures of the benefit!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!! We had a great time and it was so encouraging to see everyone who loves and cares for Blake all together in one room! Thanks to all of you who prayed for Blake and for us all. I cannot say thank you enough! Lots of our friends and family have dedicated their time and talents to making the benefit successful and we could not have asked for a better group of people surrounding us and helping us get through this hard time in our lives!

Cure ALL for Blake

Well we didn't take any pictures at the benefit, so if anyone who took pictures will please email them to us at mrandmrsparrack@cox.net we would greatly appreciate it!!!!! :)

We were very impressed by every aspect of the benefit. All of the hard work that our family and friends put in to make it go so perfectly, all of the amazing people who came out to support Blake and let him know how many people care about what he is going through and what we are going through as a family.

We cannot even begin to express how grateful we are. We are just absolutely in awe of how many people came and all of the kind words we heard! Blake was the life of the party and really enjoyed playing with his Aunt Ryleigh and tons of his cousins!

We could not have asked for a better night and we thank everyone once again for their generosity!!! We will post pictures as soon as we have some! :)

God has been so good to us and so have our family and friends, we are still in shock at how well everything went and how much fun it was!

Thanks to you all!

God Bless,

Travis, Desiree, Blake and Alexia

Cure ALL for Blake

We are all excited for the benefit that is being held for Blake and our family this weekend!!!!! We cannot wait to see everyone and for everyone to have the chance to tell Blake in person how much they care and that they have been praying for him and our family! Thanks to everyone who put all of this together and to everyone who has donated time, effort and/or money! Thanks most of all to God for keeping Blake on track and letting us keep him here with us instead of calling him up to heaven! Thanks to Brianne who has been the mastermind and done almost all of the planning and work for the benefit!!!
It has been a wild ride so far and we are so blessed to have you all by our sides!

Maintenance at Last!!!!

We will post pictures later, but wanted to share the good news! Blake started maintenance today! His counts are really good and he will be doing most of his chemo at home from here on out. The doses are much lower than the ones he has been getting, so his counts will stay up for the next 2 1/2 years while he finishes up his treatment!!!!!

While maintenance is not all fun and games, it is WAY better than the last 8 1/2 months have been for Blake. We are very excited for him to be able to do more "normal kid" things from here on out!!!! We have lots of big plans for the fall and winter!!!

We plan to go pick out our own pumpkins, go apple and cherry picking and help Uncle Dan and Aunt Brianne pick out their REAL Christmas tree!!!!!!

We also have lots of other plans. We can't believe that the benefit dinner is so close! We are very excited for this chance for Blake to see everyone he has missed out on seeing while he has been in seclusion (somewhat) and to see other people he loves to see as well!!! Thanks again to all of our friends and family who helped put everything together and who are coming to let us know how much they care!

We are so proud of Blake, he is such a strong boy and we have learned so much from him!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!! You are truly one of the most amazing most selfless people I have ever known. You have given me an edge that I would not have had if you had not raised me with your high standards in education, moral values and the treatment of others. My only hope is that I am truly like you both inside and out once I am at the point you are at now.
You raised us, your children, as one of your top priorities. Many mothers would consider the things you gave up for our happiness to be sacrifices, but you never once considered them that way. Our lives are better with you in them and we couldn't ask for more than what you have given us!
I could go on forever about how wonderful you are, but I don't want to embarrass you! ;)

Alexia is our friendly little girl. She loves other babies and older kids and really enjoys watching puppies and kitties as well! She has a few friends who are close to her age that she has played with pretty much since she was born. We have a few pictures with two of them, Ella who is about an month and a half older than Alexia and Kenneth who is about 3 months older. We are good friends with Ella's parents and Kenneth's parents, so we all enjoy any time the kids get to play together! We hope that Alexia builds lifelong friendships with some of the friends she has now!
Alexia has a few friends who are a little bit younger than she is, Jasmin and Caylee are both about two months younger than Alexia and Daniel is 6 weeks younger than her. She really enjoys seeing all of her friends and even enjoys visits with all of Blake's friends.
Alexia thoroughly enjoyed herself at Blake's birthday parties and at Kenneth's birthday party. She is not used to being around so many kids at one time, so she got a real kick out of them! She also enjoyed playing with Kenneth's puppy misti!
