This Memorial Day weekend was a very nice weekend for us!  Saturday was so nice we decided to go swimming!  It was our first swim of the season and we were so excited to get out there and swim!  Blake jumped right in (literally!) and we found out that Lex is tall enough to touch the bottom of the shallow end!  We had lots of fun showing Briana around the pool that she will have many memories in, we all have many memories made and will make many more swimming at Mama's!  Briana LOVED the pool.  She found it very relaxing and even fell asleep on Mama!

Sunday Mommy and Daddy both worked, so no big outings on Sunday.

Monday Mommy and Daddy worked in the morning.  Mama Corinne hung out with the kids while we worked.  Then we went to a family/friends BBQ for a little while until we had to head home for naps.  All the kids napped, then it was pool time at Mama and Papa's pool!  Uncle Liam and Auntie April were there too and enjoyed swimming with the kids!

After all that fun, we celebrated Papa Mark's birthday with dinner and a yummy cake!

Memorial Day 2012

Today we remember those who were extremely close to us who were veterans of the Air Force and who have passed away.  Desiree's Grandpa Bill and Travis' Grandpa John.  They were both amazing men and we were very blessed to have them in our lives.  We both miss both of them very much.

We also remember Aunt Cheryl.  She was one of the kindest, most amazing people we have ever met and we feel so lucky to have been a part of her life.  She had a heart the size of Texas and we never heard her say one negative thing about anyone.

All three of these people enriched our lives and we miss them quite a bit.  We think of them every day, but it is nice to have a day really remember them!

We love and miss you all!

We had the nephews over for a bit today!  We all had a great time!!!  Briana enjoyed watching everyone play!

Blake with his cousin

We had a lot of fun at Grandpa's book signing!  Blake and Alexia enjoyed playing with their cousins and friends!  A lot of my friends from the area came as well and I got to see a lot of people I knew from when I lived there!  I even saw the Dr who delivered me!  Grandpa's book is amazing!  I've heard many of the stories of his childhood in Tibet, but to read them all in a book is wonderful!  The kids love the book so far, I've been reading it to them!
