It is hard to believe our Alexia is now 5 years old!  She is growing up so quickly and we just adore her!  She is such a kind, compassionate child.

She is such a loving sister to both her big brother and her little sister!  She loves all things girly, but is super excited to start baseball this summer!  Her favorite things to do are Yoga with Mommy, Dance class and anything that involves spending time with her cousins and other friends!

It has been such a blessing getting to know our Lex and we are so excited to see her grow and experience lots of new things this year!  She is really looking forward to starting Kindergarten!

Some road trip gifts from Great Mama Donna!

We had a great time driving to Colorado, the kids were really great on the trip!  They definitely exceeded our expectations of a 2 year old, an almost 5 year old and a 7 year old on an 8 hour road trip!
Once we got to Colorado we really enjoyed all the family time!  We ate yummy food and reconnected with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and grandparents!

We really enjoyed our experience gift from Grandma Jenny, we all went on the Royal Gorge Train and enjoyed great food and great company!  Of course the girls made friends with another little girl and played with her quite a bit!  We really had a great time!

We also had a Birthday celebration complete with cake, family and gifts to celebrate Alexia's upcoming 5th birthday and her cousin's upcoming 16th birthday!  Everyone really enjoyed that as well and we really appreciated seeing even more family there as well!

All in all the trip was absolutely wonderful!  Even driving there and back!

This concludes our most wonderful times of the year!  We've had such an amazing start to the year 2014, we can not wait to see what the rest of the year holds in store!

God Bless!

I did not realize we had so many great times to share from the Holiday season!  We will probably have one more post, possibly two for The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We had a great time with Daddy's side of the family at the Parrack family get together!  The kids played with their cousins, even Briana enjoyed playing with her cousins (amazing for a group of 1 and 2 year olds)!  We also enjoyed family time with Mommy's side of the family on Christmas Eve and Christmas day!  All the cousins had fun there as well and Briana was very spoiled as the youngest child at the Wilson family Christmas party!

The kids have been learning lessons of giving and watched the Veggie Tales true story of St. Nicholas in order to understand where we come from as Christians during the holiday season.  We hope to teach them more and more as they grow up and are able to understand.  The kids were quite spoiled in gifts this year, but their favorite gifts were definitely the gifts of time spent with loved ones!  We have been so blessed to get to spend lots of time with all of our loved ones over the past few months!  From our trip to Joplin (although not under the best circumstances) right before Thanksgiving to our trip to Colorado right after the New Year, we have been blessed so much!   We even have family visiting this weekend!  The blessings are just pouring into 2014 and we are really loving every moment of it!
