The good news is that we haven't blogged because things have been very busy in our lives in a good way!!!!! Blake is doing great!!!! He is a happy healthy almost 5-year-old boy!!! He still has a little over a year of treatment left until he is completely done with chemo, but with the exception of a 3 day hospitalization in March (due to fever and low counts) he has been great!!!!
Blake is very excited about our next announcement!!!! He is going to be a big brother again!!!! We are due December 11th. The gender is not official yet, but they strongly suspect a certain gender based on the last two ultrasounds, but because baby had the umbilical cord between the legs, they didn't want to give a 100% sure answer on gender this time, but they are leaning heavily towards a specific gender. We will make the announcement after the next ultrasound which is in 3 weeks!!! Baby reminds us quite a bit of Blake though, Blake also had his umbilical cord between his legs, so we didn't get to find out his gender until 20 weeks.
So in other recent news for Blake he has many good friends and it is hard for us to go anywhere without running into one of his friends from pre-school!!!! That is pretty impressive to me since he only goes to pre-school 1 or 2 days a week!!!! It is good to see him making friends!!!
We are very proud of Blake for how far he has come and are very excited that he is now more than halfway through treatment!!!! Only a little over a year left!!!!! He is such an amazing little boy and we sure love him!!!!
