It has been a long and rewarding year for Blake and our entire family!!!!! We have such wonderful memories of TONS of time spent with each other and with our friends and family who mean so much to us and have been so supportive through Blake's journey!!!!

Alexia's Very Good Day

Alexia had an adventurous day! She started out getting her blood drawn for a CBC and to check her lead levels (routine for her age)! After that she went to get her hair cut and to our favorite cookie place as a reward!
She was so excited to see Aunt Brianne and the boys! And of course her favorite puppy Gabriel!!!! We all went to the park together and had a pretty nice time! The weather was amazing and all the kids were well behaved!

Blake has been doing well. We had a scare last Saturday evening. He had a fever of 101.8 and some respiratory issues. We took him in to the ER and they ran blood tests, took an x-ray to rule out pneumonia and gave him breathing treatments. Within 12 hours his fever was completely gone and his respiratory issues were practically non-existent! PTL for good medicine and wonderful doctors!!!
Today Blake, Alexia and mommy went to their favorite haircut place for haircuts, then to their favorite cookie place for cookies and wound up at Aunt Brianne's house and went to the park! We all had such a great time at the playground!!! The weather was amazing and it was nice that we were all well enough to spend time with family!!!!
Blake is very excited about his upcoming birthday! It is very hard to believe he will be 4 in a few short weeks!!!! We are all excited for his birthday party! We have a very special gift for him and we can't wait for him to see it!!!!

My friend Meagan and I hosted a baby shower for a good friend of ours Kati! It was a lot of fun and we played some non-conventional games! We socialized a lot and even had fun cleaning up afterwards!!!! It is so nice to visit with friends in Lincoln and it has been a pretty long time since I spent a day there!
It is amazing how much all of our kids have grown up and I can't believe my friend Kati is having twins!!!! I'm so excited for our future generation! I am positive they will accomplish amazing things beyond our wildest dreams. They already amaze us on a regular basis! I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends! We have grown from young ladies into women together and it is so nice to have such a strong friend base!

Blake is such an active boy that sometimes it is hard to get him in one place long enough to take his picture!!! He has a blast running from room to room and riding his Tricycle around Mama Corinne and Papa Mark's house!
Blake had a great time seeing Papa Bare and Mama Bare! Even though it has been a few months since he last saw them he ran right to them and gave them a big hug as soon as they walked in the door!!!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
Blake is very excited about his upcoming birthday! He will be 4 years old and big plans for a very fun birthday party are in the works!!!! He also has a big gift we are REALLY excited to give him!!!! He and Alexia are so good with each other! It is so much fun to watch them interact with each other! I hope they will be life-long friends like I am with my brothers!

We had a wonderful time. Alexia was mesmerized by the babies and Blake had a great time playing with his Papas! We all just basked in the glow of good quality family time!
Alexia is completely obsessed with her cousins! She will stand and watch them for long amounts of time! As they get older she is more and more interested in watching what they are doing! She is so good with younger kids! It is amazing that she already has matronly instincts at such a young age!!!

Alexia is quite an amazing little girl! We count our blessings to have her in our lives!!!! She surprises us with new words and phrases every day! She is doing pretty well at potty training herself! She loves to help around the house!

Blake had a great clinic day! His ANC was up to 2410, which is really good! His hemoglobin and platelets were great as well!
As a reward for being so good we went to Member's Day at the Zoo! The kids really enjoyed the aquarium, but were pretty tired, so we went home for naps once we were done walking through the zoo!
Blake has grown quite a bit and is now wearing size 5 clothes!!!! We are so happy to see him continue to grow through the chemo. One of the side effects is stunted growth, but it seems as though Blake is growing just fine!!!!
