Briana is 9 months old!

Go Hawkeyes!!!

It is football season AND Briana is 9 months old today!  The last month has been very busy for her, she has been learning a lot, hit some developmental milestones and has celebrated many family special events.  She still holds on to things when she walks (most of the time), but is getting more sure of herself.  She has at least 5 words in her vocabulary that she uses regularly and in context!  The words we are sure she is saying are, "ball" (Ba), Hi" (she says Hi-eeee), "more" (think Boston accent), "ma-ma" and "Daddy" (Da-eee).  We are trying to teach her to say "Go Hawks", but so far no dice.  She also waves bye-bye, but does not say it yet.

Briana cut her first tooth and second tooth this month, almost at exactly the same time.  She is working on breaking her 4 front top teeth through, none have come through yet, but they are all there, we can feel the bumps, should be a matter of days now!

She climbs everything, loves playing with her big brother and sister and is VERY musically inclined!  Any time she hears music she does a little baby dance and claps her hands!  I have a video of it I will post at some point.  She absolutely adores Mommy, Daddy and Mama Corinne (along with her big brother and sister) and knows the rest of our family very well also!

We are excited to see how things have changed next month when we do our 10 month update on Briana, we sure love that girl and are glad to be blessed with her!
