At his appointment on Tuesday Blake's counts were down and his hemoglobin level was low enough that they thought they would need to give him a transfusion on Friday. Well, we went in on Friday and Blake's counts actually went UP!!!!! Praise the Lord! His counts were so good that he didn't need any transfusion and he looks as though he is going to be able to contiue with his final high dose Methotrexate treatment from Tues June 2-Fri June 5th. His ANC was at a 710 on Friday and has to be at a 750 by Tuesday. Usually he is at about a 560 during his week off the high dose chemo and makes it into the 900s within one week, so we have high hopes for the next visit! At this rate he will okayed to make a family trip to Joplin for the 4th of July and for Mommy and Daddy's 2 year anniversary on July 6th!
