It seems as though the world started spinning when our son Blake was born. As you can see from the picture above, he was pure perfection from the moment he was born.
On August 30th, 2006 after 35 1/2 hours of labor Blake was delivered, weighing 9 lbs 5 oz. It was a long hard labor and delivery as it was back labor. The moment he was born he rocked my world.
On November 3, 2006 Travis and I were engaged to be married. We were very nervous and excited as it was a new thing for both of us.
July 6th, 2007 Travis and I were married. We celebrated with friends and family in a small wedding at Bayliss Park Hall in Council Bluffs, IA.
August of 2007 we bought our home. Since then we have been painting and remodeling, trying to put our own personal touches on it.
October 2007, we got to drive to Colorado and visit with our family out there. We always enjoy getting to see all of them!
December 2007 we hosted the Wilson/Bowerman/Beckwith/Parrack family Christmas party at our home on Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun and so nice to have a house full of people!
February 2008, We took a week of vacation and visited our family in Colorado again. Blake got to spend some quality time with his Grandpa John. A few days after we got back from Colorado we got the call that Grandpa John had passed away. We immediately made plans and went back out for the funeral. That was a very emotional time for us.
May 2008, We found out that we were pregnant again! We had been trying since December and were successful in April! :) We were very excited and told everyone the news right away.
I think that pretty much brings us up to date.
The first three pictures are from our trip to Vala's Pumpkin Patch. We went with our friends Shane and Amy and their kids, Shane's parents were also visiting from Michigan and they went with us as well! I will upload more pictures from there later, but these are the only ones I have with me.
