We took a trip to spend time with family!  The trip there was very easy, the kids were all very good travelers and we only had to stop twice, once for a potty break and to feed Briana and the second stop was just to fill our gas tank.  Once we got there we spent the rest of the day with Great Papa and Great Mama and got settled in.  The first full day there we picked crab apples with cousins, it was tons of fun!  We got a lot of apples and they were surprisingly sweet!  The kids all played for a while afterwards and the grown-ups all got to chat and catch up on current events in everyone's lives.

In the evening of our first full day there, Mama, Papa, Uncle Liam and Auntie April met us at the Precious Moments Chapel, then we headed to their hotel and we all went swimming.  We then had a wonderful Thai dinner back at Great Papa and Great Mama's house!

Our second full day there was the 4th of July!  We had fun getting food ready and getting dressed!  We went to our cousin's house for a potluck style dinner, then headed over to our Aunt and Uncle's house for a front row seat for the fireworks display!  It was an amazing, relaxing day spent with great people.  The kids and adults all had tons of fun!

Blake (and the rest of us) had a very long day today.  We were at the hospital at 7am to have his port removed, which was scheduled at 9am.  The procedure wound up being pushed to 2pm, so there was a very long wait at the hospital.  Blake was great about it.  They had a computer there in the rec room that had some fun computer games on it.  Blake passed the time with that and watching a movie with Daddy.

Mommy had to take the girls home for about 2 hours to take a nap, but was back in time for the procedure.  Blake did great, there were no issues, it all went very well and we were all excited to see the port.

We are very excited for this chapter of Blake's life (and all of our lives) to be over!  We bonded a lot as a family through the cancer and the treatment, we are glad Blake came through on the other end with minimal side effects.  We are very thankful for the moral support we received from most of our friends and family!

We are blessed with 3 healthy children and 1 health Mommy and 1 healthy Daddy!
Feeling very thankful right now!

Braids!

We had a blast playing in the Volleyball for Epilepsy tournament!  It was so much fun!  We saw lots of people and had some good sandy fun!

The other pictures are from choir practice and from when I decided to braid Lex's hair while we were watching a movie the other day.

Fun times!
