We had a fun filled day!  We enjoyed spending time at Big Lake with family, the kids (little kids and BIG kids aka the Dads), then we took a walk and fed the ducks, we finished it up by playing some more on the playground!

We then came home for dinner and to try out our ice cream maker.  We made vanilla ice cream with bits of M&Ms and boy was it delicious!  It was like a Blizzard, but better because we made it at home! 

Over all a fun and delicious day!

Blake's monthly wellness check up went well!  He is 62 lbs and 3 ft 11 1/2 inches tall!  He is in the 85th percentile for height and weight in his age group!  He is still CANCER FREE!!!!  Very exciting news for us! 

His appointment went very well, all of his counts were good and he had his routine breathing treatment!  In a few weeks he will have his port removed!!!!  We are so excited!!

After the appointment we enjoyed the nice weather with the neighbors and Mama Corinne stopped by on her way home from work!  We love Mama Corinne visits!!!

Briana had her well baby check-up today!  She weighs 21 lbs and 3 oz and is 27 inches tall!  She is in the 95th percentile for her height and weight!  She is such a healthy growing baby!  We got the go ahead to feed her new foods etc, so we are very excited about that!  She is also ahead of schedule on all of her milestones so far!!!  It is still so hard to believe she was born over 6 months ago!  Time sure does fly by!

We've heard some great news recently and we are always happy to hear good news when it comes to good things happening in other people's lives!  We are very excited for those who have shared their exciting news, good things come to those who wait! 

Now that I've shared about Briana's appointment I am going to also share some other pictures from the past few days!

Briana was okayed to eat tiny pieces of mushy foods, so we gave her some new potatoes (canned/unsalted) and some unsalted greenbeans!  She loved it!  She has been trying to eat our food for quite a while now, but since it was unsafe we did not allow her to.  Once we got the go ahead from her Dr. we started her on mushy finger foods and she LOVES it!  She is such an independent little lady! 

Alexia is doing great, she is working on writing her name, she is such a quick learner and shows an enthusiasm and eagerness to learn!  She is also the perfect playmate for both Briana and Blake!  She and Briana adore each other! 

Blake is doing great!  He has already completed his Kindergarten check-list, so we will have to work on some other fun things to learn this summer!  He is very excited to start school this fall!  He can't wait to make new friends!  This summer has already been a lot of fun for him!  He would go swimming every day if it were an option! 

We are really enjoying the nice weather!  There are lots of fun things happening, so we have been really busy, but we also get some relaxation time in on some of our days off together!  It is always nice to have a few unstructured days of free-play during the week!

I apologize, we will probably have about a million pictures from the pool...  We like to go swimming!!!

The kids are growing up too quickly!  It is a delight to watch all of them as they learn new things.  It is fun to watch Blake teach Lex and it is also fun to watch both Blake and Lex interact with Briana.

Today, Blake and Lex wanted candy and Daddy told them "no".  5 minutes later we looked over them and Blake was standing on Lex trying to reach the candy....  Our resourceful little kiddos!!!
