A long awaited day for us!  Blake finally had his last chemo treatment!  He went in very early in the morning and did very well for his treatment!  He still has to visit the hospital for blood counts, but is completely done with chemo FOREVER as long as the cancer stays away! 

He has been our inspiration through this whole ordeal and is such a strong boy!  We are very blessed to have him as our firstborn!  What an amazing son we have!

We asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate the end of chemo and he wanted to go to the Children's Museum!  It was a blast!  We had lots of fun doing all of the different activities!!  There was also a fun building center upstairs that we had lots of fun with as well! 

Once again we are extremely thankful for all of the thoughts and prayers throughout this time and are so happy that Blake is finally done with all the stresses that come with being a child with cancer/a child on chemo.

Well Briana had her well baby check-up today!  She is 4 months old and weighs 19 lbs 7 oz and is 26 1/2 inches tall!  The doctor said she was ready for her first non-breast milk foods and suggested we try yellow/orange vegetables! 

We got a little high chair for her as well as a few different types of stage 1 baby foods!  It is tradition for daddy to feed the kids their first non-breast milk foods, so daddy got to feed her.  Another tradition is for the big brother or sister to help feed her and Alexia was so excited to help feed her!

We sure love all our kiddos!  Can't believe how fast they are growing up!  Briana was a champ about her shots, cried for less than 3 seconds.  Such a sweet baby!

Briana at 4 months:

Rolls from tummy to back and back to tummy.

Grasps things and shakes things and puts them in her mouth.

Has great focus and pays very close attention to things, especially things her brother and sister are showing her.

Babbles a lot, makes many happy noises.

Stands while holding onto things, pulls up to standing on people's fingers (she is very precocious).

Sits with very little assistance.

Smiles and laughs (especially at her brother and sister).

I am sure I a missing some things, but this is the general idea!  Such an amazing girl!  So blessed to have her in our lives!

We had a very nice relaxing Easter weekend.  We enjoyed a wonderful service at Church and also enjoyed some great quality time with the family!  Great food and great company.  Wish every day could be so special! 

We have very exciting plans for the coming week!

We stayed in a cabin this weekend with my cousin and her family!  It was a blast!  The kids all had as much fun as we did I think!  The second day there was our nephew's birthday party!  I can't believe they are two now, they are so amazing!  The party was great and everyone who was there had a great time!  There were games, cute decorations, yummy (and cute) treats and even a pinata!!!! 

After so much fun on Friday and Saturday we had a nice relaxing Sunday!  We went to church in the morning with Mama Corinne and we all headed over to great Grandma's house for the afternoon.  We had a nice relaxing day there. 

Amazing weather for Nebraska in the early spring!  We could get used to this!

We had a wonderful day fishing at a local lake today!  We picked up Mama Corinne and spent the day fishing, then headed to the playground for a bit.  The kids were A-MAZ-ING!!!  We cannot believe how great they are at fishing.  Blake was casting and reeling all by himself and Alexia was so nice and patient watching her bobber to see if she got a bite!  She would say, "Come here fishies, fishies.  Eat the worm."  So adorable.  Briana enjoyed sitting in the shade with Mama Corinne watching everyone fishing. 

We can't wait to enjoy more days out fishing and enjoying the nice weather!
